power bikesWhat’s the current rage in the vehicle business? The answer is electric power bikes. Electricity seems to be taking rule over every aspect of life now, from reading to writing, from eating to cooking and now from riding to racing, everything is going electronic. The concept of electronic is not new, it has been around for quite a while now, but not many people have really known about it until now in the 21st century it has created a storm in the bike industry. The bikes are a combination of motor bikes and bicycles. Meaning they have an appearance of a really slick and comfortable motorbike but the safety and fun of a bicycle, just being electrically charged rather than by fuel or gas.

China and Japan being the largest user and manufacturer of these bikes have made an impact in the Asian market and now this phenomenon is catching on in the US and worldwide like a storm.

So, what’s the hype about electric power bikes? Let me take you on a ride of knowledge about these bikes. Well, the first major advantage of this bike is that it is noise and population free, that means you would not be causing harm to the ozone layer every time you start your bike, unlike the traditional bike which could make you close your ears in frustration and hold your breath as usually what happens in the busy streets of Asia.

Any ways, this bike is also of a very neat and chic shape, not at all huge and bulky rather small and short and very comfortable. They do not occupy much space in your garage and can be moved around the place, and the greatest thing about this is that you don’t have to be an adult over 18 to be able to ride it. It’s designed keeping teenagers and kids in mind who sometimes have trouble commuting on their traditional bicycle. These bikes come in various categories, ranging from dirt bikes meant especially for racing to the normal equipped bike meant for travelling around along with your stuff.

The important fact is that your own old bicycle can be converted into an electric power bike by the conversion kit and this could save you money from buying a whole new brand of power bike. However, you do have to see to the parts of your bicycle, its shape etc and get the right kit for yourself. I don’t know how many best points to bring out about these bikes but it seems like every attribute is a best point. Ok here goes another. They are meant for kids, workers, dads, moms and even grandparents. Elders could use this bike to stay fit; they could travel easily without having any trouble as these bikes work simply by charging electricity into its motor. You just have to make sure that you keep your bike charged for the next day’s commute. So with all these advantages and the regular safety rules, you are sure on your way to a brand new experience of biking, forgetting all the old manual ways of tiring pedaling. Enjoy the ride!!
