Electric Motor Bikes
Have you ever wished for yourself a motor bike that was cheap, environmental friendly and at the same time light weighted enough to let you feel like your riding in the air? Well!! Electronic motor bikes have just made your wish come true! So, what exactly are they? These are just like your traditional bikes, with a few important differences. The first is that they do not consume petrol, they do not cause noise, they are not bulky and heavy and most importantly they are cost effective. Now, you must be thinking how that is possible. Here, let me explain.
Electronic motor bikes use electrically charged batteries rather than petrol motors to work. Thus, they do not have smoke coming out of them and they do not emit ear splitting noise and they require minimal maintenance. The batteries have to be charged to use the bike and now invention of electric bikes that use solar energy has also started to invade the market. So, through these bikes industries are aiming to cut down the pollution caused due to the emission of poisonous gases from petrol driven bikes. One of the main advantages for users is that
these bikes save your travelling expenditure to a high level. One electric motor bike can save years of fuel money wasted on the old motor bikes. These bikes do have their disadvantages and that is short mileage power and battery life. They are not meant for long distance travelling like on the motor bike, they have specific limits. The battery if over used could also live a short life. However, work is being done to have strong, long lasting batteries, like, old lead batteries which have a short life span and would provide short mileage. Now batteries such as nikel metal hydrid and litium-ion are being used instead which promises good mileage and long life. There are even more advances in field such as fuel cell technology etc which would ensure that these bikes would prove much more efficient and environmental than what they currently are.
The current setback on these bikes becoming common is the price range. Since it is still in its infant stage, it’s not possible for everyone to acquire this vehicle. For a very elegant, entirely updated vehicle the prices could reach up to $10,000. So, it’s definitely not for everyone out there. Currently, electric motor bikes have not entirely hit the public yet, as companies are still trying to beat each other out in producing the highest mileage, longest battery life bike. Whenever they are launched they are promoted by companies through races exhibiting their power. It will take some set standard for these bikes to be available to the public. Hopefully within the near future, we would be able to do a favor on the planet by saving it from harmful emissions, through the usage of these bikes. In the meanwhile you can be taking advantage on electric bicycles, miniature versions of motorbike but with the infrastructure of cycles. You can in the meanwhile, visit the different online websites that shows the latest updates on these bikes and their extremely tempting looks!
