Electric Bikes And Scooters
Do you want your kids to be able to travel around safely on a vehicle, without having to board a bus, a van or even for you to drop them? Well, then the electric bikes and scooters are the perfect answer to your question. Built on the latest technology of electric motors and chargeable batteries, these bikes are safe, light and very comfortable, coming with various styles and designs that would suit your needs. These bikes have gained popularity in countries like China and India, as travelling really takes its toll there. Through these bikes students and elders alike are able to travel at their leisure without having to face any problems of pollution and noise, as these bikes are designed to be totally environmental friendly.
An electric bike resembles your traditional bicycle, but works on chargeable electric batteries, and offers a much higher rate of speed with a little effort as compared to the old bikes. The speed could range from 15 miles to even 40 mph depending on the kind of bike you would want to buy. The bike is environmental friendly and comes in various types, such as mountain bikes, dirt bikes etc, all aimed at providing maximum riding joy with minimum power consumption. Though the bike helps save a lot on fuel and gas, it does have a high price range at the time of purchase. The electric bike has not only teenagers as it’s main users, but also old generation people who can travel here and there easily without much effort. This has created a great boost towards using these bikes.
The electric scooter too is the latest rage of short distance travelling. It initially came in the form of skate boards, meant for kids and teenagers, later it updated to a proper two vehicular scooty, catering to the needs of not only teenagers but also adults and seniors alike. The electric scooter is meant for short distance travelling of up to 30mph and also works on rechargeable battery. It is best when you want to run over to the store or go somewhere close by without having the hassle to get a car and then get stuck in a traffic jam. Some scooty however, does require legal status and should be checked first with the rules and regulations of the city before you purchase one. The main problem in the electric scooter is its charging. It has to be constantly charged for the short trips that you make. An electric bike can still run without the charging due to the force of pedaling but not an electric scooter, so you if you do tend to ride it, make sure you’re not too far off from your place or you could end up pushing the scooter and yourself home!
These electric bikes and scooters have had people enthralled by their versatility but the only main problem remains is their exuberant prices which could range from $800 to $2000 depending on the type of scooty or bike that you would want to purchase. It is because of these prizes that have somehow become a hindrance for the mass public to purchase. However, like all other products, with the advancing time and demands the price would drop to accommodate the mass public too.
